Brent,

First off let me say I agree with you but since I have to take the position as the opposer here it goes! :o)

:-? Where is it shown that online discussions are more superior than seminars?

I agree that the instructor is able to direct the discussion but also there are times of misunderstanding of the discussion. Then you must wait until someone gets back to you about that misunderstanding or discussion. Whereas in a face to face meeting you have that debate right there. And after that debate you can continue instead of having such time inbetween discussions. Do you not agree that this could prove to be detrimental to have to "wait" for a response? If you want to finish your assignment and you have the time now it inhibits you being able to finish in a timely manner if you have to wait a few days for someone to respond.
