Unit 1 Elements of Student Support Week 3 - 5	Sep. 17 - Oct. 7	Readings for Unit 1, online discussion At the end of Unit 1 (October 7) students must submit Assignment 1, an Annotated Bibliography of the required readings.
Unit 2 Designing Services to Meet Needs: Learner Characteristics and Special Groups Week 6 - 7	Oct. 8 - Oct. 21	Readings for Unit 2, online discussion
Unit 2 Management and Organization of Student Support Services Week 8 - 10	Oct. 22 - Nov. 11	Before the end of Unit 2 (November 4) students must submit Assignment 2, a paper (6-8 pages, maximum 2000 words) on a special topic in student support including but not limited to any of the topics covered in the course.
Unit 3 Developing a Model of Student Support Case Studies Week 11 - 15	Nov. 12 -  Dec. 17	Readings for Unit 3, group work, case studies Case studies (group work) must be posted by November 25, and Assignment 3, (individual responses to the case studies) must be posted by December 8. The last week of class will be used to discuss case studies.
