I believe online conferences can produce equal or superior outcomes than discussion in traditional (i.e. face-to-face)seminars. Thedelivery methods allow interaction with a variety of diverse individuals. The tendency to stereotype is gone from on-line learning.Questions that could have been answered but time expired in class, are answered on-line with documented results. You can alwaysreference back to questions/answers. On-line research is quick and accessible 24 hours. No trips to the library. You can alwaysemail your classmates and/or instructor if you have a question that you do not want to share with the entire group and get a response.
