DE means that students can have access to more and better learning resources than in the past (Moore and Kearsley, p. 15). Thisimple statement alone supports the idea that on-line learning can produce the same level or superior learning as traditional F2F. Aot of the key points have been discussed already, i.e., cultural, freedom, opportunity, managing your own learning etc. On-line learning produces better results because individuals must assume more responsibility for managing their own learning, in terms ofwhen they will study, how much they want to learn, and seeking out information and resources (Moore and Kearsley, p. 16). Sostudents that elect to learn on-line will produce bettter results. I think a higher commitment level is associated with on-line learning.
