Linda, I agree. I would also like to add that There are many online students that would not participate
in a traditional classroomsetting for fear that their comments would
be seen as unintelligent or that they would not be taken seriously. Because there is no faceto face
interaction, there is more confidence to participate, not only because
the criticizing looks and gestures are eliminated butbecause they cannot be done online without the
critic being judged themselves. We cannot assume that at this
level of education allparticipants are as impartial and objective as they should be. Thanks. Grady
